Any ideas for a pair of front indicator lights that are not working. They were not working before my major so It is not related. The other lights at the front work, parking/fog/headlights etc. The side flashers are also OK Just the indicator lights. Globes are OK as is the fuse that controls them. When indicators are selected they flash quite quickly, sugesting that the system senses a bulb out.
    Thanks

Please confirm what version TR -- F113B? and is it a euro or a GB version?

There is no single point of failure that can stop only both front turn indicator lights from working -- but you didn't directly say the rear turn signal lights are working OK -- are they? In fact, the side turn signal light and the front turn signal light are fed by the same wires on both sides so, if there is a problem, it has to be "local" between the two on each side (which seems unlikely to have occurred simultaneously on both sides). Do you have any wiring "modifications" (like for an alarm that flashes the indicator lights)?

Hi Steve, yes it is a 113B and yes it does have an alarm that flashes all indicators when arming. All the other indicators at rear and side work correctly just fast. I am just heading out to put the car up on the hoist to see if I can trace the wires to the Indicators.

In a weird way, that's good (because it gives a possible reasonable explanation for having the "simultaneous" trouble on both sides). On the RH side, it's an "A" (light blue) wire that carries the flashing +12V signal to both the side turn light and the front turn light; on the LH side it is an "AN" (light blue/black) wire.

    Good Hunting!

Thanks Steve I will look some more tomorrow. Just spent the last 5 hours with A/C experts trying to convince them that the system is a primative climate control and with the cold conditions today even if max cold is selected will not see the compressor engage for very long. So to prove the point drove home freezing with my A/C regas with 'highchill' R12 replacement gas. Roll on Summer!

Finally got some time to remove the front indicators to trace the problem with flashers Checked the bulbs again and all OK. With the RHS light assy out I hooked the connector for that light directly to 12v- all OK. Next connected a globe to the connector block that is in the car- that also works! OK so power to the connection block but no power out, but only to indicator lights all others good. So pulled all the connections apart and cleaned etc. RHS now working fine! Now for the LHS light, this could not possibly be so co-incidental as to be the same problem with both--surely not.
Again same process and same result cleaning connections and now all OK. I cannot believe the co-incidence that both would suffer the same fate at the same time and yet 3 other connections in the same block were OK !!!!
I do not care as my car now has all it's lights working correctly. So much for Italian electrics!
    Thanks for your input Steve.
