348 Front compartment “frunk” carpet orientation

    Putting my frunk carpet back in and not sure if top half should slide behind the bottom half or vice-versa. I did not make note during disassembly and the parts diagram didn’t help. From the creases in the trim I would be inclined to have the top half slide over the bottom half, but the areas toward the front, that fit around the hood dampers, look as though they would be better behind.

    I thought the top went over the bottom, and was then hidden by the metal trim pieces.

    Yes, top over bottom is correct.
