The transmission is coming along great...the engine mods are almost finished, however we are having trouble finding piston rings to hold the 300hp shot of nitrous oxide that we will be using for NOLA....stay tuned for dyno results.
We just reached 30 ferrari challenge cars registered for the CCR finale! Fantastic mix of cars, with strong participation in all classes!
When will we be told the addresses for the event each night? Other than the race track, I'm not sure where we are supposed to be for each event.
They give you a VIP credential hang tag, when you check in.....it has John's cell on it, to come with Bail money.... Enjoy!!! Have a WONDERFUL time!!
All of the credentials are coming. There will be registration beginning at 4:30pm and a reception Thursday at 7:30pm at the Windsor Court. You will get a registration package with a key to everything.
Does that mean the reception dinner at the Bruno estate is cancelled? It's still listed on the website as active. While I arrive in time for the welcome reception, my wife does not. She does not arrive until Friday evening and will be joining us then. Is Friday night's activity still at the track or have there been other changes to the schedule?
Revised Schedule is being mailed to everyone today: Thursday Reception at Windsor Court Friday: Party at 1850s mansion of Joe Bruno, Italian chef, 80s band Flock of Seagulls Sat: Black tie Gala and dinner on St Charles, awards presentation, 80's band Squeeze, Bourbon Street after party. It's going to be a great event. 33 Ferrari Challenge cars are registered and on the grid for the race.
Everyone should have received the schedule and all parties We are reminding everyone that sat is Black Tie. It's mardi gras style party so this is part of the costume!!!
