By accident I started an online race without AI and the achievements still popped lol.
I was finally able to download the pack today!! Thd CGT has an amazing sound. It doesn't amplify in tunnels like the ferraris do but the sound is just great. I've only driven that and the GT3RS (both w/exhaust upgrade) so I can't comment on the others but it sounds like it is probably the same from FM3. It was nice to drive a Porsche on Forza again. Afterall, Porsche was the first car company I knew about.
The DLC for June 5th has been revealed [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JggzNfbkPWQ&feature=plcp[/ame] 2011 Chevrolet #4 Corvette Racing ZR1 1959 BMW 507 1940 Ford De Luxe Coupe 2011 Aston Martin Cygnet 1958 MG MGA Twin-Cam 1997 Maserati Ghibli Cup 2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series 1987 RUF CTR Yellowbird 1992 Toyota Celica GT-Four RC ST185 1963 Volkswagen Beetle
Fiorano94 and I found a very cool glitch that probably wouldn't interest many of you, but I'll tell you anyway. Do you want a bone stock Porsche 964 Carrera 2, 4 or RS, or any non-turbo variation? Buy a 930 T, upgrade to the twin turbo package, then in performance upgrade straight to the race turbo and then once it's installed highlight and sell it. Your car now has 230hp and when you view the incar performance data there will be no turbo boost.
The FREE Viper DLC is now available to download. You get the new Viper and an autovista version. No race version this time. I suspect they will release it later after the car has its first race in ALMS. You download the DLC for free but still have to buy the car with in game CR. It should also be noted that the car appears in it's own garage titled Viper and not in the Dodge garage.
That viper has a mind of it's own! I wasn't a fan of the stripes and I wonder if the production versions will have it. It was popular on the last gen but i hope not on this one
autovista for the viper! has anyone else noticed the tach when it gets to redline a viper lights up? i love it! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHRXm-XBWMY[/ame]
The July DLC has been revealed. Another great selection. I'm looking forward to driving the McLaren, Lotus and the Hudson Hornet the most but I'll drive all the cars for sure. 2011 McLaren 59 GT MP4-12C GT3 1973 AMC Gremlin X 2012 Ascari KZ1R 1998 Aston Martin V8 Vantage V600 1952 Hudson Hornet 1954 Jaguar XK120 1956 Lotus Eleven 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK55 AMG 1995 RUF CTR2 2012 Spyker C8 Aileron Here's the trailer and a pic I took of the real Herb Thomas Hudson Hornet right where it belongs, on the beach at Daytona [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87ZU-7pnBQA&feature=plcp[/ame] Image Unavailable, Please Login
This one actually looks good and I'll probably get it. They have a nice selection. It's good to see the CTR2 in there
While Forza is getting yet another DLC pack with ten cars, GT5 gets a $5 track and a rebadged Toyota that's already in the game. Yeah...Polyphony sure knows how to deliver, keep up with the competition, and make players happy. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I really don't know what happened to that series, I think they too obsessive with physics and the look of the game neglected everything else. I'll admit it was the most realistic driving I've ever felt and it looked far better than FM4, it just didn't have the replayability nor the carlist that FM does. It was really good, but it wasn't 5 years of delays good.
You should get an Xbox 360 You get Forza 4, Forza Horizon, and some other games probably. Forza has had some great support. There wasn't much wrong with it that came out and they've been consistent with DLCs.
While I don't follow the latest GT5 news to be fair the game did come out 11mths earlier and even tho most of the cars in the game are just 50million spec models of the same car it does have 400 more cars than FM4. Also as with 99% of game developers they usually stop releasing packs 12mths after a game release so if Sony are still pushing any content out it's a bonus at this stage. They would have their hands full with making GT6.
I downloaded the latest car pack yesterday and tried a few of the cars. So far the Lotus and McLaren have been a blast to drive. It is fun to experience the Hudson as well. This got me to thinking about how well T10 has done with offering such a wide variety of cars and the way they dispersed them. Here's a few pics of the new cars and some of the others. August DLC has just been announced. Here is the official trailer [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiyNxp5kFa8&feature=plcp[/ame] 1962 Lincoln Continental 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302 2003 Aston Martin DB7 Zagato 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track 1989 Mercedes-Benz #63 Team Sauber-Mercedes C9 1984 Peugeot 205 T16 2013 Scion FR-S 1962 Triumph TR3B 2013 Lexus GS350 F Sport
Ah, good to know that T10 has returned to making awful DLC packs. They scared me with last month's very fun and respectable DLC, but glad to see they're back on track. I mean come on, the only cars that are remotely exciting are the Aston and the Merc. I know every car can't be a slam dunk, but this is just not worth the money IMO.
I got the new DLC and tried out a few of the cars and thought they were pretty fun. The mercedes is wicked fast and fun to drive Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just in case you aren't aware, you can buy most cars individually if you don't like the whole pack with one car chosen as a " pack only " car. I believe the pack only car for the August DLC is the 2013 Mustang Boss 302 so you can just buy the AM and Merc if that is all you're interested in.
