The best driver in the world gets to chose to sit in the best car on the grid. If you don't understand that about F1 then you have a lot to learn!
An aggressive driver isn't a superior driver. Aggresivity should translate in getting the most of a car, not in physically attacking other drivers. It's a matter of ethics; some great drivers have never been aggressive towards their peers. Some of the drivers who objected to Schumacher's behaviour weren't exactly "struggling".
That's a broad statement. How come he didn't find himself in the best car 2009-2013 then? Contracts....Same contracts that are preventing the best driver on the grid from being in the best car today. I'm pretty sure mods mentioned a while ago blindly calling people haters is a good way to get yourself banned.
We have a say in England : "If the cap fits, wear it". Hater, detractor, it's just a choice of words, isn't it ?
I thought it was quite hilarious of the Sky commentators wondering if this win could spark the rise of a Bottas 6.0 to challenge the WDC. After the fact that VB qualified more than 6 tenths of his teammate and never really came close to Lewis in racing (no, the desperate attempt in T2 does not count).
Verstappen is a very good driver, but saying he is the best is a matter of opinion based on subjectivity, not objectivity. I keep an open mind on that; in between, Hamilton is the most successful, and that's a fact.
Also bearing in mind that qualifying is often Bottas' best suit, and that he very often can't keep up during the race. Of that there are many examples.
One among the facts: Verstappen came in F1 at the age of 18. At the same age Hamilton was starting in F3.
Careful, the theme around here is these hybrid era cars "drive themselves". Max entered F1 in the hybrid era, Lewis has won championship nearly 15 years ago. Different cars, challenges.
Another way to look at this is from the team manager's perspective: "What, now you are driving faster? Why don't you do that from the start? Hello!"
Absolutely. That was hilarious. Bottas is known to be fast at Sochi. Add to that the Lewis penalty and you have this result. The gap narrowed (to over 40 points, hello!) because of the recent penalties. It will soon widen. It's just artificial drama. I'm sure Crofty err Ramsey didn't believe his own words.
Daniel knew he messed up though, there is a difference. Most drivers when they know they've screwed up own it, including Lewis.

Sorry Pastor, you and Lance can just move on. Lance ruining Ricci's Austria race at the end with his 'move' lol. Stewards later agree his useless move forcing Ricci off the track as well as himself should have been penalized. https://www.racefans.net/2020/07/19/stewards-now-accept-strolls-styrian-gp-pass-wasnt-legal-ricciardo/ As I said earlier Lance got his own payback via Charles in Russia. Lance has zero to say about that. He needs to get on with driving and not complaining like a child.
Being precocious in F1 is not a sign of superiority; it simply denotes that a driver started early and climbed quicker the ladder in feeder series. Sometimes is means a young driver has by-passed some steps, like jumping from F3 to F1; not always beneficial.
