Look at the life those at the top or near it lead. A life not easily tossed. They have strong self belief driving them etc. No shock some are staying longer.
It's the change of everything they do not seem to know where the problems are, front suspension rear suspension, wheelbase, mass distribution, aero map. Take your choice, either way the car is a dud. The team will be lucky to salvage podiums this year, forget wins in a proper gp. Tyre deg is also worse so an all round masterclass in car design and development. They may be better wheeling last years car back out.
+1 The suspension change is the most Bizarre to me. They had a decent base with last year's car. Why make such a significant change for a fractional gain? It's absolutely inevitable that they would have to run different setups. There was no need for this in the last year of the formula.
(Ahem) Charles Leclerc – 9.5 POPULAR ON PLANETF1 Wild Lewis Hamilton data reveals huge Charles Leclerc advantage Undoubtedly the driver of the day, Charles Leclerc was excellent in Jeddah. His first stint on the mediums was a sight to behold. Not only did he keep them alive for 29 laps, but he did so while having a three-second lead over the rest of the field. That extended stint gave him the freedom to push later on and he got past George Russell before holding Norris at arm’s length.
What a load of bollocks. He's accomplished more than any of them sans Verstappen and would have won it in last year's McLaren.
John, I'm sure you are a good dude, but no. A couple years ago maybe I would agree. Now Charles is a driver. Look at the last race of 2024. That was a master class.
Opps. I was trying to quote john Ireland way up johnireland said: ↑ As for Leclerc, he just isn't in the same leage with Oscar and Max...or Russell...or even Lando. Leclerc is not a fighter.
