At this point I'm rooting for Piastri. It'll be an awesome year between him, Lando, Max and Russel.

Ferrari? Not so much. Still hoping for some wash out at the front and Chuck carries the day.

Ferrari have had far worse years than this.

Why do Ferrari fans get so dramatic every time the team runs into struggles? Ferrari are where Mercedes have been since the new aero rules came out in 22'.

    Probably for Alonso, yes.

Hamilton? Really depends. If he continues to struggle with this gap to Leclerc, it'll be hard for Ferrari to even think about a WCC in their future. OTOH, I think there's a good chance he'll eventually get a handle on the car.

I think we all felt at the end of last year that Ferrari were closing in on McClaren. This feels like a step backwards.

Last year they said they were putting all their resources into this year's car. They went out and got Hamilton for "an upgrade" over Sainz.

    They've gone BACKWARDS. That's miserable.

You don't think a DOUBLE DISQUALIFICATION is miserable?

Lewis' problem is Lewis. He was beaten at Mercedes by Russell. Now at Ferrari, he is being beaten by Leclerc, and today he was beaten by the man he replaced at Ferrari. His ego wants to be the winner, but he no longer has the skills and heart...he is aging out. As for Leclerc, he just isn't in the same leage with Oscar and Max...or Russell...or even Lando. Leclerc is not a fighter.

Not necessarily. He wouldn't win a WDC with the Merc anymore. So he fulfills any F1 driver's life long dream of driving for Ferrari. With some luck he might even get a one off win.

I knew Elton would be slower than Charles, it's normal, everyone else is (Max maybe on a pair) but half a second on average is a bit too much. Seb was let go and was doing a lot better....

Until now he's been picking the winners (unlike Alonso). He screwed the pooch on this one.

If he keeps getting outqualified by CL and Sainz, it won't matter that he's driving the red car.

Hopefully F has the b's to cut its losses.

Was the Commendatore alive and saw that his successor has preferred to sell cheap tshirts and caps instead of winning a title, Elkan would have not enough planet to escape from the kicks in the ass from Enzo.

    More and more?

I'm a believer in Norris and IMO still haven't seen anything special in terms of speed from Piastri, but tomorrow Piastri is going heads up vs Max with both gunning for the lead in the WDC.

We are about to see what the kid is made of. This is his first true pressure moment. This isn't for a win, this is for the lifelong dream...and if he can get Max then he has a massive leg up on Norris. At that point Oscar will need to have bad fortune(or fall apart) and or Norris needs to go on a heater to gain favor.

Norris had that chance last year and fumbled it bad. Now Oscar is in the driver seat, I'm curious to see how he does.

Piastri and Max are well and truly in Lando's head now and Piastri didn't even have to lift a finger for it today. Norris would/should've had him today by the pace he'd been showing here, and given that traditionally, Quali is at least Norris' strong point over Piastri.

Lando overthinks and is unsure of himself. He talks a big game but just can't deliver: He isn't stupid and he's seeing this himself. Last year he made the mistake of just looking at social media comments (liking them too, sarcastically), and even that got in his head. Those where anonymous people on the ****ing internet! If you let those get in your head, how much damage is Piastri doing? Last week he went completely 180 on Norris' comments, saying ''We have the best car, if you think different that's just an insult to the guys building our car". He doubled down on it again today after quali saying how great his car is.

    ---

Max delivered again, and what a performance. Over 9 tenths clear on Yuki again. The guy is a master. What else is there to say?

    ----

Lewis again showing he's overpaid. Someone Alert Prozac, he's a walking advertising board for them. Every time he opens his mouth, whether it's in the interview or in the car on the radio, the dude is sounding more and more depressed.

Lewis is another Vettel, only difference is Lewis got to drive the best car for a much longer period of time. His adaptability is piss poor.
