Ferrari need to find another Michael Schumacher or Niki Lauda.
Ain't gonna happen anytime soon.
But what knows Alonso about Formula 1? Some say he´s about to sign for Renault (again!).
Well, I don´t have a problem with that, actually everybody does it.
But to make a good replica on a budget and that works like the original you need more than a few photos, and I´m afraid that something fishy is happening. They even don´t need to be very careful to not get caught because nobody at FIA is going to ask too many questions: they can´t afford to loose any team.
But I suppose this is going to be a one-off. It´s like Williams in 2014, that got (some say) input from Mercedes because Toto Wolff had some interest in the team but after that went south.
The issue is development. If others out - develop the Team Clone, they may not be better off than with their own actual car. Its getting noticed and maybe they can attract other sponsor money but Im not impressed with their effort at all. The spirit of it is corrupt overall. Its also evident customer cars are needed as William has pointed out to me and I agree.
McLaren did this for some of their components and got fined £100MM for it.
Drivers are their last problem I guess
They need to quit running their team as a family style “Italian” team with a head dictator of the family having final say. They need to buckle down and run it like a strict business that is open to any idea from any level of the group. Even Lewis’ comments about the Mercedes team today said that they have no politics in their team and they listen to all options. At Ferrari if the “boss” doesn’t want it to happen then it doesn’t happen even if 100 others on the team thinks it’s the way to go. That is the issue with that Ferrari team. Running it like Enzo ran it unfortunately doesn’t work in this day and age.
I bet all the people cheering for customer cars also complained about F1 becoming a spec series.

It would become more 'spec' - I agree with you. There are not many good options are there.
No, they need to find another Ross Brawn.
. . . or Luca Montezemolo. Wait a minute . . He's available!
As Ferrari F1 is dead, maybe they should paint their cars black.
Sure, but I don't recall Ross spannering on the 312
