Tom Kristensen (yes, that one from the 24 hour races) said that as Max walked out of the stewards room yesterday, he told Georgie "I'll get it back by T1 one anyways". Ice cold statement and of course backs it up.

 

1. For those that are complaining about consistency, it's always difficult in motorsports. Often the stewards don't want to do anything that might upset a good battle, or end up being the deciding factor in a championship battle, so they'll show leniency for a long time, until they eventually just snap and bring down the hammer. That's been the case since the dawn of racing.

2. The debris called for a VSC, not a local yellow. When Sainz (and Hamilton) punctured a tire, the stewards knew Ferrari were going to raise bloody hell over the debris costing them a shot at the WCC, and it wouldn't have looked good for Norris to get away with another obvious infraction after what happened in Brazil. Then the length of time spent under the SC gave the stewards plenty of time to think over what they wanted to do.

3. All of the drivers have been speeding under yellows for way too long and getting away with it. I think because passing was so difficult, Norris thought he could get within DRS range and nobody notice he did it under yellow. I did, and that was before Max said anything.

4. Norris is still a really nice dude that I can help but like. Yes, he's made some errors, but this is his first year at the front, so cut him some slack guys. He's a gentleman on and off the track, and him return Piastri a sprint victory showed honor, which goes a long way with me personally.

Lets hope it's a clean race next weekend, and that somehow, some way, this GARBAGE track in Qatar somehow gets thrown off the schedule for how boring it is.

Stay off the racing line. He loses respect alot this year when he gets sanctioned lol.

Anything or anyone that challenges him. Grow up. Your the WDC. Constant needless wahhhhhh over nothing. Its in the rules. Typical RedBull if anything goes against them. Happy to use same rule book against others of course. Pathetic.

 

To be fair, Max and his Red Bull starts are just top notch since two years.
Very efficient.

Anyhow, No report from Russell losing respect for Verstappen then? As you say its a one sided debate. For me i hate all the snitching on the radio.
