Ferrari won't leave F1, but endure another crossing of the desert in its long history.
Later another squad will emerge to bring success again to the Scuderia

Charles Leclerc is facing a double investigation after qualifying for the Styrian Grand Prix, with stewards investigating him impeding another car and failing to abort a lap for a red flag

Well....Horner said no on camera yesterday lol. I sense nothing other than a nice conversation about the weather-- in German of course! :)

Mercedes Formula 1 driver Valtteri Bottas says a brake issue contributed to a frustrating fourth place in a dramatic wet qualifying session for the Styrian Grand Prix.

Bottas, who won the Austrian GP from pole last weekend, says a glazed front brake knocked his confidence in the wet conditions of qualifying on Saturday at the Red Bull Ring.

In Q3 he was 1.428s slower than team-mate Lewis Hamilton, who topped the times to claim his 89th poole position in F1.

The pair were split by the Red Bull of Max Verstappen and the McLaren of Carlos Sainz.

"It was not easy, I didn't look to be fourth on the grid but obviously tricky conditions can bring different challenges," the Finn told Sky F1.

"For me personally I don't think I managed to build enough temperature in the tyres, part of the reason was my front-right brake was glazing throughout the qualifying.

"So, I couldn't really maximise the potential of the car under braking, which is really important for the confidence in the wet conditions. It made it quite tricky and it's for sure disappointing."

I haven't watched any of it so far this season. And it is more fun to read about and imagine it from the comments here. If there is a next season, it feels like Stroll could be Hamilton's new partner. That would leave a seat for Russell at Racing Point, and a seat for Vettel at Williams. Oui?

Hope Ferrari is able to slice it's way through the pack tomorrow, but I'm not getting my hopes up. This feels an awful lot like 2014.

Doesn't matter that much if he starts P11 or P14, only safety car can save the ferraris tomorrow.

I'm sure Charles will carve up the field....on a dry track and w/o attrition....on full merit of course.

How far up is the question.

Last years car was good until mid-summer when the FIA stuck that 2nd fuel flow sensor...it went downhill for Ferrari as the season progressed.

It would seem, currently, that Ferrari is still paying for it.

Most logical explanation is Ferrari was caught cheating.
A scandal too big to be officially announced.
So the settlement story and the underpowered PU for the next two years as a punition.

If the Pink Kopies are in front of him he will not get past I think. Mainly Stroll or he will follow Perez and remain there potentially. So where Stroll/Perez end up might be as far with no safety cars etc. I didnt think I would ever state Ferrari follow or equal to Racing Point in this life lol!

Very obvious in possibility!! No shock if true given how FIA have stepped in this firmly.
