Anyone know who has the new floor after all, I know Charles' has the old front wing and Vettel the new.
So right now, Ferrari headed by at least one car from every non-Ferrari powered team, except Williams. So pissed at the stupidity of whoever allowed the engine situation get this out of hand especially when you consider how bad Honda and Renault were. I hope somebody in charge there is even angrier and demanding answers if not resignations.
Hard to tell from FP1 if the new parts are working, FP2 will be more telling since teams might be going for Quali runs (If Saturdays rain is too heavy, FP2 might be used as Quali results for the race).
If this is Binotto’s idea of “changing aero philosophy” - a few extra transverse slots in the floor - I think we get a good idea where the problems with this team lies. All the other teams have sited intercoolers and other rads above the engine and designed pylons to drive flow down to the floor to aid diffuser; added slim noses, etc., and here we have a few extra slots. At this point they could have signed Grosjean, Kimi, Kubica or kept Vettel to drive because really they’re going nowhere fast.
Amazing how backward Ferrari have gone. Been saying for years they need better chassis/aero engineers and now it appears they need good engine people too.
Like they fell off a cliff, FFS. Typical of them to underestimate the gains other teams are targeting year-on-year but here it’s almost like they literally closed shop even before the lockdown while for sure the others worked through the lockdown.

Just to show you how slow Ferrari are today: They're half a second slower quali than their 2018 car. Can't blame tyres/weather that much either: Mercedes is 2 tenths faster since then, Red bull made up 5 tenths. Car looks like a bag of dogshit on track, engine is slow. Horrible.
