A year of new absolute records at every track. Now, if we can just do something about the mid '90s video game engine sounds that the real engines currently have (from the outside at least)....

Both McLarens out in Q2 but definite improvements from Vandoorne, 0.135secs off Alonso.

Nice result, shame Kimi couldn't knock elton an extra place, but 2-3 is pretty good, let's hope we can take bottles and leave them all behind tomorrow. With a bit of luck perez or grosjean will tag elton out lap one. Forza Ferrari

And once more the Cinderella team Force India easily outclass Williams, placing 2 cars in the top 10 !!.

Shame. Grow up. Forgive and forget. Its old news and LH now has larger problems on his hands - a team mate who is as fast it seems. Enough so that Vettel cannot be his only concern. In fact is rather arrogant for both LH and Vettel to discount Bottas at this early stage. He is a very quick and solid driver.

I don't think vettel discounts bottles, elton however is under the (false I believe) impression that bottles will be made to give up his place, and that bottles will oblige. If bottles has the intelligence I think he has, he will make the most of his opportunities and switch his radio off if the team try to manipulate him. He's better off with his one year contract if he wins the championship against elton and has to go elsewhere s champ, than playing second fiddle and maybe being forced out after a year having wasted the opportunities only for Ricci or max to take his place long term

+1 Bottas is racing for his career and has nothing to lose. His 'stock' has gone up I would think around the paddock. He cannot be discounted at all. I would hope both Vettel and LH give him the respect he deserves.

I would think Lauda see's the harmony that Bottas brings to the operation. Its certainly not the ballet boy who keeps his cool and avoids digesting boot leather LOL :) Wolff seems pleased as well. For the longer future Bottas is a great choice to keep in the garage.

I for one would be happy to see Bottas in red! :) I dont see Mercedes wanting Bottas to leave at all.

The guy delivers and is no problem.

    Why would they change that?

It could only be pressure from the sponsors.

Yet again Seb makes Kimi look slow.

It seriously boggles the mind that anyone would suggest Ferrari should keep Kimi and get rid of Seb next year.

4 tenths and Kimi had traffic on his lap. Yeah sack him!

Who is saying that vettel should be replaced, lol

I rarely venture into this section but even I read the thread where it was suggested.

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/f1/555315-flavio-dont-rule-out-alonso-ferrari-again.html

    I'm not anti-Kimi as such, just pro-Ferrari.

And frankly Kimi has been a total and utter disappointment since he came back.
If Ferrari re-sign him again there should be riots in the streets of Italy.

I don't love Seb either, but he is way faster than Kimi, and that's all I care about.
