    +100,000,000 to infinity.

They give Di Resta a penalty IMMEDIATELY for a similar collision, but hold the decisions on Button until AFTER the race, even though the collisions were before DiResta's.

    Complete B.S.!

By the by, Button = six pit stops and took out two World Champions including his own teammate. Great job dude - maybe next time you can take out yourself and give us all a big smile...

    LOL....

For a while, the only retirements were Hamilton, Alonso and Kovalainen. Both of Hamilton's former teammates.

They want to keep the ratings up until after the end of the race.

Not a fan of DRS, too artificial.

I think the FIA rules say that one world champ can take out another in a race and not be penalized-- But not two! :)

Saw the race on DVR. Jensen reminds me that at times it is better to be lucky than good. I see at most a ten spot grid penalty next race. Vettel f'd up pure n simple. In any event hammy will be livid so this was a costly win in terms of team harmony at Mac.

    What a race !! I mean....WHAT A RACE !!

That 42 year ol' hag drove brilliantly, but it was the bulldozer driver who won. Guess he got into the wrong race:D.

Happy to see Hamilton get a taste of his own medicine.

You can say that but look at it this way.

When Michael was passed, HE then had the advantage. But he couldn't do anything about it because Button was too fast. So, all the DRS did is let the faster car pass and attack the next guy.

If Michael was faster, he would have repassed Button. So, was it really artificial?

Jb won a fantastic race, but that's not the point. If they penalised him (IF he was in the wrong) all it does is favour Vettel and put the championship even further out of reach of anyone else, but then I am interested in F1 more than any particular team.

I would say "the pot calling the kettle black..." but that got Hamilton in trouble last time.

He wasn't as lucky to lose all his lead on the last SC :D

When are we going to know the stewards' final determination?

And he didn't make any excuses, even though his rear tires were pretty much done. Class act kid. And he also screwed up by slowing down and not building a larger lead, thinking it was enough. But five wins and 2 seconds is nothing to be ashamed of :D. He still built into his lead, to a now massive 60 points.

Best race of the year so far. Hey, and can't you folks watch the freaking race and comment later? Geez, 40 pages while the race goes on? Never seen even a page build up during a race in other sites. You look like a bunch of girls 'tweeting' or something. Ha ha. Take care.

    A wonderfully frustrating afternoon.
Great race between the rain. Plenty to discuss.

All racing is artificial but DRS is not applied universally so I consider it overly contrived. It needn't be available over the entire track but should be available to all drivers when enabled.

Race of the year. Amazing. Usually, I'm out of my seat on lap 1, but not this time - last 5 laps were sensational!

Schu was awesome on the inters. Fastest lap over and over again. Just like the old days. Too bad he didn't get on the podium.

Button - best race of his career easily.

Hamilton, Alonso and several others - oh dear. Try again.

Kobayashi - great entertainment as usual, and held of a race winning Ferrari all the way to the bitter end. Good effort.

Massa - the best days have passed unfortunately.

    Vettel - is human!

The race for WDC? Well, that was over a long time ago... No change there.
