No. He has done the best with the subpar equipment SF has been giving him since around the Spanish GP. You DO KNOW that he is NOT running the same car [Specification and modification wise] as Leclec, correct? SF has ALWAYS done that to the driver that is leaving the team and/or fallen off favor with SF.
Leclerc in on meds, Vettel out on softs. And the Ferrari hasn't improved all that much during the year. So even if Seb is in the same spec they started the year with, that's still not a tire compound difference.
Prove Binotto is lying - https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article.binotto-reiterates-that-vettel-and-leclerc-have-equal-cars-after-contrasting.1v5G8IWzIHgV0q1OxRYNQg.html
This^ cars are the same. Drivers are not and we saw that last year. Charles had error's yes but he is simply better in same machine.
Has Ferrari learned their lesson? When Ferrari grabbed drivers who won with superior equipment, they've failed to deliver in red. Next year: Leclerk and Sainz -- drivers who have gotten the most out of mid-pack cars. ... Or did none of the "hot" drivers want to go to Ferrari after this year?
Oh crap: Charles: 9th + 3 penalty = 12th -- too close to Vettel, given their history on track together. Vettel on softs, Charles on meds -- anyone want to set odds on the Ferraris taking each other out again?
