He is not good enough as a reserve to me. He is not capable of what Nico has done in the last 8 days. I just dont think he has that as a racer. 4th year in F1. No major improvement to me.

 

None of the French drivers is really promising ( Ghastly, Ocon and Grosjean).

 

Gasly seems to have found some pace and strength. Take him over Lance Stroll I would

 

And Carlos Sainz Jr must think: "What a mess I got myself into !"

 

But then Sainz out in Q2 in a McLaren. Both Sainz and Ferrari may be regretting that decision.

 

I hope Nico has a good start tomorrow. He missed out on the entire race experience last race. GO NICO!

He was a good driver with Williams. He is a good driver with Merc. His career trajectory reminds me of Rubens’. Not a WDC-level guy

 

He’s saying F has given him a garbage car and he’s doing the best he can with it.

 

We know Stroll is not a top driver, so there is no point in repeating it, unless you feel better for it.

Reading one of Gasly's interviews in the French press when he signed with Red Bull, you would have thought he was going to challenge Verstappen !

I think the few GPs he did alongside Max were a sobering experience.

Bottas is fast, but his team mate is more competitive than him over a season.

Bottas is nowhere as motivated as Rosberg was, IMO.

Maybe kvyat is depressed but right now it's a 5-0 for Pierre in qualy.
The same kvyat who was a real threat for dany ricciardo few years ago.
