    I'm only on my 6th race after the patch. I'll keep an eye on this.

    When I exit the pits during the Monaco race, I keep getting rear ended --> Penalty.

    It's such a stupid system, it should have nothing to do with your rival and all to do with your standings. And is it just me or is it next to impossible to get your reputation up to the top teams without getting pole and winning every race?

    Yeah :). I went quicker last night in the Mclaren as well, but after I just switched the machine off instead of going back to garage so it didn't save the time :(.

    Does this game support multiple monitors on the PS3?

    I'm working on a new setup of my sim for GT5 and I know F1 supports it on the PC version but before I buy multiple copies of this game...

    It's 31 driver rep points for the Ferrari contract. To put it perspective, I've only lost one race in one and a quarter seasons and I only have 27 points. That's after a WDC too.

    I know RB was 20, and McLaren 25.

    So I'm leading WDC, with

    2 - Hamilton
    3 - Vettel
    4 - Alonso
    5 - Webber

    Rivals are Hamilton, Vettel, and Webber. So, no, you cannot pick your teammate as rival.

    Declined Ferrari for Driver 2. Have offers from RB and McLaren for Driver 1.

    Will wait for Ferrari to offer #1, but may end up going with one of the other 2.

    How are McLaren and RB to drive?

    I picked Alonso as my main rival for the 1st season and was racing for Ferrari in my 2nd season. :eek:

    Then I moved on to Red Bull for season 3 and and with a few races to go I should be with Merc next season!

    I've only tried the Ferrari in time trial mode and it was really good. I don't know about the RB or the McLaren, i'll try them soon. If I get the offer as number two at Ferrari, i'll take it. Beat your teammate enough and you'll get number one anyway...:)

    I used to to fly RC Helicopters. Good simulators $300 about the same to repair 1 crash to a
    $1k helicopter.

    $50K for a good car simulator.

    The Red Bull simulator was/is MUCH more than that.

    That being said, I can't afford one, so I bought a 55" 3D to play Gran Turismo 5.

    360 version is practically unplayable with the game controller...

    ...Friday got a MC pedal/steering wheel combo...totally transformed the game! :)

    Now I can get into it!

    BTW, who knows what the future holds? I am absolutely amazed by the CXC Simulator...

    It's not unplayable, more a challenge :eek:

    Also I noticed a new patch came out. Didn't see any release notes but they still haven't fixed the S3 bug :(

    I bought this game when it came out and just set up my gear over the holidays. Awesome!

    I did the patch because I was being held up in the pits, but it seems to be working great. I have never played on line, do you guys get together for races? Thinking of joining the PS3 netword.
