it looks like a commercial truck and not a pick up? Not sure since I don't know what I am looking at.
since the DEA locked up 12 of my little helpers i also have a 4700 IHC 4 door but it is not 4X4. very fancy. is this too large?
I don't need any commercial trucks. lol! I am not making deliveries. Just need a 4x4 truck to get me around in the woods and carry all my weapons of mass destruction when deer hunting.
Mitchell, I got the pictures. It's nothing I can use. Its more for commercial use. I bet it could run over a silver car pretty easy in 4 wheel drive. lol!
I did a quick rough one, I will do a final one when back from scalp mount. He must be the lowest scored 18" inside 9 point at around 105, but tines just didn't have length. Mains were only 16 and 16.5" too. Mass pretty thin, but that's normal for most Texas Deer. He weighed 175, which isn't bad for a Texas Deer.
Good job Rob. After seeing that black powder buck (story above somewhere) at 40 yards, I chose not to shoot any other buck, so I bow hunted until the season ended last weekend. It is nice being the only guy afield, but it sure is a cold time to be bow hunting! Season tally, two antler-less tags filled, lots of quality time in the woods.
Just go to Ohio where you don't even need weapons to get a large buck. All you need is.... http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/993-forum/610084-ot-check-out-what-i-found-in-my-backyard.html
have to be user to see pics, but from sounds of "pond" they get thirsty if wounded and then it died there?
Wasn't it last year there was the disease going around the deer populations here that made their body temp go into fever levels and then they would drown themselves trying to cool off? Could be something similar.
hmm, hadn't heard that one, but makes since. down here some of our "breeder" populations have been impacted by chronic wasting disease.
I got my truck. It's a low mile 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Mega Cab Laramie with a 5.7 Hemi engine and tons of room on the inside. This truck was built on the 3500 series frame. Warranty until 2013 plus it has heated seats and sunroof. LOL! My Ferrari gets better gas mileage go figure. Factory say 18mpg but that must be at idle going down hill. I get about 11 city or less and about 14 highway. I am surprise how smooth this truck is. I can't get over how big it is. It snowed today and the truck did well in 4x4 mode but 2 wheel mode it wanted to spin at times. Over all I am very happy with this truck. Got one more week to put some deer in the back of this bad boy. My brother is standing next to the truck. This truck replaced my Dodge Durango...may she rest in peace. I already went out and got a shot at a large 150-160 class 9 point deer. I took a shot at it at 37 yards and think I hit a shoulder bone. Never saw blood or found the arrow. Pretty pissed about it. But go out pretty much every weekend.
