I was watching this auction as well. My friends in the exotic car business all said that Canadian cars trade at a 10% discount even though they are the same car as the US model. Apparently not in this case. Don't see the value in this car at that number as it has no warranty/CPO coverage and there are many on the market with lower asking prices. It was aggressively bid up pretty early in the auction so I had a sense it was not going to be a "deal." I'm sure the new owner is excited! Best wishes and much enjoyment!

I watched the auction close (time ticked to zero and said ‘auction closed’) with the highest bid at $525k. I assumed the reserve wasn’t met. Checked back later to find that it somehow continued I guess and the winning bid was a new bidder not yet seen at $561,500 plus a $25k buyers fee.

I'm not sure, I haven't been involved with SOMO for 18 months. Not sure if the auction continued or it ended just under reserve and they found a buyer after.

Considering how well optioned the car was with the sport seats (hard to find) and essentially new I think it was a fair to good deal. A Ferrari extended warranty is available with an inspection.

Sold for $8k over sticker for a ‘new’ 4 yr old Canadian spec, out of factory warranty car. Yes, buyer can still get the Power 15 warranty and is still on the 7 yr free maintenance plan (oil change). I think it’s a beautiful spec and it’d be nice to get the new car goodies (model, etc) but it seems to be $40k+ over market. These are all going down not up, right? Put a 1,000+ miles on it and it will drop quickly. Then, hopefully I can buy it. :)

I think that sticker price was in CAD so I believe it sold for way over sticker in USD.

Wow! If that’s true it sold originally for roughly $410k US and now $586k US. (.71063 exchange rate in 2020). Total speculation but interesting. Still love the spec but don’t most prefer the electric seats in the GTS?

I have the electric seats and I would have preferred the race ones. :)

For looks or comfort? I have the cf race seats in my F8 and previously in my 488 and California but figured if I’m not tracking it and want the wifey to be comfortable on some trips that electrics ones would be the way to go. Although frankly I think the race seats are snug and comfortable. I’ve never sat in the electric seats.

For me, the race seats are both more beautiful and more comfortable. The regular seats are rather hard without great support.
