    Either around 10am, or later in the day. I want to let Doug know as soon as I can. We can possibly arrange a morning drive; replicating the April 2007 drive from Nat's house to the warehouse. If Nat is unavailable; then the starting point can easily be modified.

    Anybody who has been there before knows how special it is; all that I ask is that everybody have the most respect. The last time I had planned a tour, there were a few bad apples whom had taken it upon themselves to climb into many of the cars. I didn't know these people, or who they came with.

    I hate to be a pain, but I definitely do not want to see that happening again.

    man, same day as my drive... I'm torn. will there be another later this fall or in the spring? (I know it's a little early to be asking)

    Ok, we are also going to get a tour of a shop that rebuilds train engines up to 30 tons after seeing the collection

    We will meet at Nat's around 10 AM in Salem Twp. From there, we will drive the backroads to the warehouse, then from the warehouse, get a tour of a facility that rebuilds train engines. Should make for a good deay

    Preference goes to FOC members 1st, but no. This is open to all (up to a certain point. Based on past experience, I think limiting to approx. 30 cars is about right; which is chaotic enough as is.

    Heh, believe me, I'll be pretty pissed off if I get a new set of track tires and racing pad, only to have it rain. I'm really hoping I'm not at the L collection ;)

    Tentative schedule

    11:30 - 12:00 Meeting at Nat and Jennifer Scapaticci's house in Salem Twshp.
    12:00-12:30 PM - Drivers meeting: Group "leaders" will describe the route and answer questions.
    12:30 - 12:45 PM - Get in your cars, and prepare for a colorful drive through the woods to the Collection
    2:00 PM Arrive at the Warehouse
    2:00-3:00 PM, enjoy!
    3:15 PM We have a specially arranged tour of a facility that rebuilds train engines up to 30 tons in weight just down the road from the warehouse
    4:00 PM - Lunch - Location TBD

    Thanks Isaac, I miss you guys too. I'm glad to see it looks like you have John M coming out. I tried to convince him to come out on several of our drives and it never worked out. Looks like you have a great mix of cars and people. Fantastic.

    Karen and I would like to come up for the tour, I will be driving our Audi ( A8L - Long wheel-base / 4.2 V-8 / Quattro / Tiptronic - trying to make her sound special here) if that is acceptable? We were fortunate enough to see Mr. "L"'s collection a couple of years ago and to say it blew me away is an understatement. I briefly spoke with Ken and I was very impressed by his "down to earthness". He is an enthusiast like the rest of us...he is one of us so to speak. So if there aren't any objections....can we also attend? Please say yes... :)
