FOC Spring Drive 2011

We need to get the drive in...

Next weekend. Saturday morning, with Sunday morning as the weather providing alternate. Starting point to be determined soon.

Sat sounds good. May have to meet up with you en route as i have a couple of quick chores I have to do first.

I hit 100K today and my car is still dieing to stretch its legs

Probability for good weather this w/e (saturday) is high

Hopefully some good news on top of that, we shall see.

Meet @ 9:00 am, embark @ approx 9:30am

Where?
Green Oak Village Place

US 23 @ Lee Rd (Exit 58) on the north bound side through a few round-a-bouts.

Where to?
The destination is Bakers off of Milford Rd
2025 South Milford Road, Milford, MI

 

the Bakers car meets are on Sunday.

 

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 75.

Saturday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60.

Sunday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 79.

 

Sat does sound like the better day.

You are right that the car meets are Sunday but for our purpose Sat is better because the parking lot is often reserved for something else until ~ 11 AM and also that is a different kind of crowd there. But if we were to go sometime we could park behind Holden's

 

oops, hate to post on top of a post but I just realized that Green Oaks is pretty big; if I might suggest maybe we should pick a landmark like the far end of the Penny's parking lot? I think that is the area you are referring to.

 

The area to the right of the roundabout inside the drive complex. Nat will be parked there with his Challenge Stradale early, I'm sure. It will be on the same side as JCPenny; but we will be about as far from the store front as the parking lot allows.

I want to thank everyone for bringing their cars along on the gorgeous day, and I would also like to thank Isaac and everyone else who planned this cruise. A better day could not have been chosen! It was great to see you guys again!
