I'm planning on hitting the drive and party on the West Side on the 14th. I just sent out an email from FOCMichigan.com with some upcoming events - including both drives (east and west) on the 14th, The rolling sculpture car show in Ann Arbor on the 13th, and the dinner on the 18th.

Hey guys.... First post here, and fairly new to the automotive forum community. Also a member of 6speedonline, and Rennlist. I recently bought my first sports car...been driving SUV's for 10 yrs. It is a Porsche, but have always been an admire of Ferraris. Since Magnum PI probably.....My first model car was a red 328. I have e-mailed modmaki a few times, and he let me know about this event. I plan to be there next Wed. I hope you don't mind a german parked next to all the italians, but variety is the spice of life, right? Looking forward to meeting you all. Larry
sorry did't get your e-mail. if it was an f-chat e mail i realy don't get to those e -mails very often...but you and your german car are welcomed...buy the way iam a aproud new owner of a 1967 911t.......oops did i just say proud......sorry...MO
The weather is looking pretty shaky for this dinner tomorrow. What do you guys all do if it is storming out? Do you guys all drive the Ferrari in a thunderstorm? Light rain? Just wondering. See you all tomorrow for the first time. Larry
It's always preferable not to drive in the rain, however, as a wise f-chatter taught me on my first fall color tour, f cars do not, in fact, melt in the rain. If it's raining when I'm about to leave, I'll probably leave the spider in the garage. Mike
it looks like we might be o.k.weather is calling for scattered t-stormes. will have wait and see.i will check one hour before dinner..but still i think i'll bring it out.......MO
