I don't think I should give out all the figures. However, I think it is no secret that there are currently around 3,000 members (which, incidentally, as far as Ferrari Owners' Clubs around the world go, is second only to the Ferrari Club of America and a lot more than most of the European Clubs). Just had mail back from Peter E. To be on the committee i need a proposer and a seconder. Anyone help? John, Johnathan?
That's a lot of banana's!!!! At the last AGM there were 104 FOC and 7 PHE members. A two-thirds majority of those present is required for election. Why don't they allow postal votes?
It would be fairly irrelevant if there's only one candidate for a position! Yes, I will act as proposer. (Proposer and seconder just need to be members). Jonathan
Then i shall take the P155 out of you logging serial numbers no more Just need a couple of seconders - anyone?
I would encourage anyone (you must be a member) to go who has a point to make or who has an interest in the Club. That is supposed to be what the AGM is for. Out of courtesy and to ensure a considered response can be given, I would e-mail Peter with any issues beforehand. Jonathan
It would be a good idea to find out whats expected if one was to be elected on to the comitte It aint just turn up once a month for beer and skittles !!
Ray I did and it didn't so I've found alternatives. I wish it was different hence my comments and input. BTW I was a member from '97 but initially didn't get much out of it and stopped for a couple of years before rejoining when i met a good bunch of people in London again.
