After watching Dans video on You Tube, it was very straight forward and easy. I ran three flush cycles with the Launch and used Mobil Synthetic ATF.
The Launch was $700 but I think it just paid for itself.

    Nice job!

I saw his video on this, but when searching it seems it needs to be bled up near the reservoir as well to get more of the fluid out?

I just got my replacement accumulator and will probably do it on Saturday once my Liqui Moly arrives, so any suggestions are appreciated.

    Thanks
    Aaron

I did it exactly like he showed on his video. I actually ran three bleed cycles. I made sure to keep the reservoir full during each bleed cycle. I was able to watch the fluid level drop as the bleed cycle was in progress.

    @Extreme

I am sure you know this.. there is fluid between powerunit and ediff and in the actuator .. eventually the fluid will make it back to the reservoir.. so if you flush the fluid like Dan did (only clutch) u didn't get all of it out .. doing a flush and then driving going thru the gears and various speeds and turns you will force the older fluid back .. so it wouldn't be bad to do one more bleed like you did after a week or so of driving

The x431 doesn't have any ediff bleed function but I haven't seen the torque version

Actually I didn’t know that. Thank you. I’ll probably just do it again at next years oil change. It was real easy doing them at the same time.

I have the X-431 Torque from Launch Tech USA. It does include the E-Diiff.

Which Launch X431 did you use? Where did you buy it to get it for $700? I would like to use it to flush the F1 fluid on my F430 Scuderia? There are many versions of this unit available. I watched the YouTube video that you saw, and they never specified the unit version. Any help.

    Hi Skip,
I bought the Launch X431 Pros. It was $750 obo and I offered $700 and the seller accepted my offer. It’s brand new from a retailer.
I bought it off EBay and am very happy with it. The F1 bleed cycle is very easy to do with it. It would help if someone was watching the fluid level in the reservoir while you are underneath the car. I was concerned about running the reservoir dry. Other than that, it was real easy.
I followed along with the guy on YouTube as I did mine.

Got mine in a lightning deal for $630. Seems there is a large margin of profit in these.

The Foxwell unit also does all of this for about $250 with software for two car manufacturers.

He neglects to bleed from both bleed nipples and he doesn't do the E-Diff. He doesn't do the actuator either but unless you're having issues it's not mandatory.
