    Hey guys. I got a fluid leak that’s on my AC compressor and AC lines. It does seem to have a red tint so I don’t think it’s engine oil. Cant see any clear signs that it’s coming from above. Is there a common leak with these symptoms? Also can hear a very faint noise which seems it’s from the AC lines. Almost like a constant creek.     Red fluid is from either power steering pump / lines ( most likely your case) or the F1 system which is farther back

    The oil in the AC system is also red. I just cleaned up some drips on my car. The line was replaced a few years ago.

    With that amount the ac would be completely discharged and not functional if compressor oil

    You are correct. I let it sit over night with the under panel off and it’s leaking from
    The seam in the AC compressor housing as well as the connection to hardline.

    The AC was blowing hot when I first test drove it and the dealer claimed they fixed it and it did blow cold when I took delivery but now we know they just recharged it. Image Unavailable, Please Login

    The dealer may have also added some Red Angel A/C stop leak ( it's also red colored) to try to stem the tide of a noticeable leak. The stuff is really very good and usually works on most Freon leaks in your system. It's a little pricey but I have had good luck with it with my older vehicles. It's available on Amazon. Probably worth a try.
