Yellow 488 on I95N in Fort Lauderdale about 12:30pm, then a black F12 on I95S at about 2. I was in the CS.
Saw a bunch of new Ferrari’s today, went to Ferrari Maserati of West Palm beach today. I don’t generally keep up with the newer stuff but I was very impressed I noticed a lot of design cues going back to older models. Beautiful dealership also great design.
I think there used to be a Florida Spotter's Thread. But with all the cars down here. There were too many posts ! And maybe that led to it's demise. Last Friday I saw an 812 Superfast. The first I'd ever seen. On Clark Rd., driving west from 75, about happy hour. It was A Charcoal or Dark Grey color. A man driving. And a woman as his passenger. She looked fabulous ! ... Both the woman and he car !
One off paint in purple on a 599 over near Royal Palm yesterday. Not sure what was going on with that car!
Black 430 spider...Sunday, Dec 6th 4:30-5pm on I-75 N around Venice and past Sarasota. Someone was having lots of fun keeping up with me in my white Infiniti Q60. The wifey looked like she was having a blast too.
Saw my first Pista in the wild today. Was driving by Bay Hill and it was oncoming. Looked like Azzurro California color with yellow stripes. Anyone have photos of it? Looked fantastic. Driving back on same road later saw a red F430 spider.
Rare sightings in Sarasota. I saw a Red 512 BBi Boxer, a 348 convertible, and a blue 308GT4. And many others. Notably, an 812 and a new 488 Spyder Ghaphite/Burgundy.
Spotted a Rosso Barchetta 575M with full tan interior down US1 in Miami this morning. Unfortunately I was not in my 550 at the time to chase and stalk.
Stopped by Ferrari of Palm beach today, in their detail bay there was an F60, La Ferrari and SF90.. amazing. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Before heading to Sebring for the FCA Experience, I visited relatives in west Boca Raton. As a big fan of Cincinnati-style chili, I took a trip down to Skyline Chili in Sunrise and was very surprised to see parked out front.....a Bricklin! Not a Ferrari but probably rarer than my 328. Don't see many of those around anymore. Growing up a guy at the end of my street had two of those. One was orange like the pic you posted and the other one was a lime green which I think was a factory color. Looks like the one you posted has Cragars on it.
You certainly don’t. I remember a guy from high school that bought one right after he graduated. He opted for work versus school, so I’m assuming he went for the instant gratification route and probably ‘spent it forward’ quite a bit. I remember being awed by the hulk wing doors, and was too intimidated to even ask for a ride in it. I still like the look. Seems like these are a lot less common than a DeLorean, of which I’ve seen a dozen at Exotics Celebration Point earlier this year. Remind me to tell you my Cragar story sometime. Involves a 454 Corvette and numerous tickets (a friend’s fiasco, I just happened to be on board). Or maybe I already told you at Granny’s and forgot, lol.
