I haven't seen this posted anywhere else. If it is, sorry in advance.

A young female flight attendant (who works for UAL I think) made a feature length film about the lives of flight attendants and airline crew. It's called "The Aviary" and I think it's a pretty great little move and I thought I would pass along the information for any of you who might be interested.

At first glance it looks a little tough on pilots but in the end it's not. Also, I was a little put off by the Airline Captains drinking in uniform at the bar (in the trailer) but it all makes sense in the context of the rest of the movie.

You can only get the DVD on the website - you can also read her blog, watch the movie trailer and check out the cast there:

Review of the movie with a good synopsis of the movie:

Looks very interesting, I think I'll have to pick it up.

For anyone who is on the fence about ordering this movie it seems to be heavily discounted on their website for some reason at the moment. I'm not sure if it's a mistake so don't kill the messanger if it doesn't last but I thought I'd pass that on

I'll have to get that to my girlfriend... she just started with Piedmont (USAir Express)... heh... funny, rather than becoming a pro pilot and THEN dating a flight attendant, I started off with the flight attendant. Call it job training :D
