Hey, guys! Soo..... with all other platforms I've owned that are OBD-II, I've been able to make ECU changes via a laptop and OBD port. Is there now hardware/software avail for this? All my searching shows shops that will do it, but paying $1,000+ to hook up a laptop to flash CS firmware seems... well... I'm a DIY'er so, you know LOL. Plus the recommendations I've received, so far, have been dead ends. I know it's an aging platform, so I'm not exactly surprised.
I have a CS flashed TCU but would like to update my ECU to CS spec also, so that they play nice.
I haven't seen that the 360 platform is much for DIY and OpenSource materials. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, in advance.

He was hugely helpful and actually referred me to a guy named Sam, but we were unable to nail down the contact info for him, so looking for other options.
As for the cost.. yeah.. I miss the platforms where everyone shared everything. If you wanted the car tuned, you would pay a tuner, but all software and instruction was free. You could flash your own vehicles all day long. But... those were "car guys". We all did our own stuff, so took a bit of pride in helping others.
When dealing with exotics, there's TONS of great help. It just costs haha. To be expected, though. As long as the work gets done!

He works with Sam here in the USA ..I would say keep on that path since many have used them for the 360 and are very happy

Oh, for sure. If we can find a valid phone/WhatsApp number for Sam, I'll be all over it.

I have spoken to Sam several times. He returns my text or call rather quickly. As well, Trev has responded to WhatsApp text and calls.
To be fair to the current state. I think the complexity of software in the cars today dictate and much more complex tune. Tuning your own software can lead to more problems than better performance. I have had several cars in my shop with a "tune" and it is just not what I expected. Trev however has a very good grasp of what the complexity of the system needs. As an example, I have installed CS TCU software in a number of 360s. There are quirks that owners live with because over all it is a better set up for fast shifting. Trev can get you the shifting and the integration with the ECUs that just CS software doesn't have. As well, just adding CS software to a standard 360 misses the mark. I have had long discussions with Trev about what I have found in dealing with these cars for many years. In my opinion, he has a better grasp on how to adjust software to get the results desired. Just moving one software platform to another car just doesn't get the results these days. It is just way more complicated than that.

Please note too, that 360 and 575 software updates are done with the ECUs removed, not through the OBDII connection. Like Wade said, best left to an expert with the correct equipment.

FYI - some people may be wondering why some cars are able to be to flash tuned (through the OBDII port) and other are not.

This is mainly due to the differing levels of security placed on the original ECU by the manufacturer.

For example, Magnetti Marelli ECUs are very easy to flash tune with simple handheld devices that allow you to download the original software, send it to a tuner for modification, and then re-upload the new file back onto the car. I think the ECUs for a number of Asian brands behave similarly.

Bosch Motronic ECUs have always been difficult/impossible to flash tune in the aftermarket. I know they can be flashed in a dealer service setting but that is different than what can be done in the aftermarket.
