Anyone else had fitment problems with the Superformance headers? Had to drill the holes and cut between the pipes at the flange?
That’s a shame and not acceptable. I purchased test pipes from superformance and they did not fit, sent them back. It wouldn’t surprise me that the supplier they use to make a simple set of test pipes (that wouldn’t fit) also has issues making headers.
I puchased the Oil line between Engine and Oil dry sump tank from superformance. Full of rust and metall flakes which could pulled of with the fingertip and then fell off. Sent the part immediality back...of course at my expense. Absolutly not acceptable. Lack of quality seems to be a common problem Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have given up on Superformance -- they used to be a good source with reasonable prices but they have gone badly downhill. Prices are within a few € of Ferrari branded spares but they send (without telling you in advance) so-called "pattern parts" (or "fake" as I prefer to call them) of poor quality. Most of the things I recently ordered from them have ended up in the trash as I refuse to fit them -- for example, no brand cam tensioner bearings that just look cheap and nasty. I am based in Europe, so I now mostly use Ferrari classic parts in Egham.
