For years cupholders were verboten. I actually thought they still were when I saw 458 and F12s have them. Not sure if the 458 holder was oem but it looked like it? Makes me wonder, what was the first?

Likewise I’m curious when they stopped selling cars with an Ash tray.

I don’t have enough seat time in post 2005 cars to comment off the top of my head who was first. From memory the following have it:

California T (not regular/1st gen California)
    Portofino and Roma
    F12/812
    Lusso (not sure about FF)
    458? Maybe?
    488+

FWIW, I don’t smoke or drink I’m my Ferraris. It’s more curiosity for changing cultural norms

I remember when I picked up my 2011 458, the dealer told me it was the first model with a cup holder, for what that is worth.

My 458 does not have an ashtray. A pity.

I think the fact that there is a passenger ashtray in every 456, but no cruise control is so absolutely “Ferrari” it is ridiculous. Love it.

That and the old school horn ;)
