I had 2 1st gen NSX’s as well. Of course I sold them before they doubled in value. I made sure to get out of them before I made a profit cos that would just be weird for my life. Buy high, sell low baby. [emoji23]

Gorgeous. I have a GS 812, 458 S is RC. Prices have gone up, come down some in ‘23, but long term outlook is excellent. The best 8 ever made.

 

Did you buy it to enjoy it or as an investment?

If you bought it to ENJOY it then please ignore the social media "financial wizard" imbeciles- They don't know cars and they don't know money- otherwise they'd be working for Ferrari or JP Morgan- Not pontificating on ****ing worthless "social media"

I can't tell you how many times I have read that 458 owners have traded/sold to buy a 488/F8/etc and then ended up going back to the 458. It's amazing to me that the 458 is the only car that is owned, traded "up" for the newer model and then, missed so much that the newer car is traded "down" for the 458 again. I can't think of another Ferrari model that this type of behavior is as common as it is for the 458. The 458 is truly special if for no other reason than this.

 

Totally agree. Folks talk about the later cars being faster, more able, better fit and finish, whatever. But the 458 has the best sound and presence, and overall is simply incredible. Period.

OP, I also purchased a 458 (spider) as my first. I often tell folks this was a flash of genius by Ferrari.

That was 5 years ago.

Still have it and pretty much daily it, and added the 458 Challenge Evo for the track, and an F8 spider.

Great, great cars, all of them.

 

Congrats OP! She's a beauty! I bought mine as only the second owner in March '20 for $190k w/ only 4k on the clock, so you do the math.
IMO, will always hold and retain value through the years, especially due to the last NA V8, last Pininfarina body for the platform, 1st Schumacher F1 input on wheel, etc., etc. Any questions you have, post here or PM me.

Same here. My NSX was the only car I've really regretted selling.

 

Molly had that "girl next door" look. Quirky, cute and approachable. I ended up dating a girl that looked a lot like her in college for nearly 2 years. Darker red head, but same hairstyle etc. Boy was she a firecracker in all the best ways a girl could be. She was easily turned on and it was like Niagara Falls from that point forward.

 

Are we still talking 458s? Lol
