Whatever you do, breath, don't hold your breath...EV has its own set of production issues, I could see 2023 being more likely
My guess is production in late Oct 2022 production for the USA with first delivery in Jan / Feb 2023. Some may fly them in a little early. Spider maybe 9 months after that. Just my guess but I think I'm pretty close.
I know and hate to believe such news. World wide supply chain is a bit of a mess though, so hardly a tail breeze with this one.
If they have as many issues with this as they do with the SF90, one might want to wait until 2024... Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
With this new technology for Ferrari, would not think of buying the car until at least a year after it has been in the hands of owners.
What % is new though? Much tech has been reused from SF90 / Roma, infotainment, hybrid, etc. I think this is less risky that the SF90 was at launch.
How about a 120degree V6 + hot-V (nested) turbos riding on top, that's completely new, did they get it right? I heard some of the SF90 delay was due to faulty batteries and that Ferrari was going to take battery development in-house, if they did that, it will also be all new...
yeah, fair - I daily a 2020 Porsche Taycan 4S, it's been back to the dealership 3 times for faults and errors. Nothing serious, just annoying, and no real cost to me. Personally I can live with the bugs for now, but time will tell
As mentioned, if the question is "when will be the first deliveries", a good bet for an answer is probably Q1 2022. If the question is, "when will I get a car if I put a deposit today", the answer is certainly different - Q3 2022 best case, and possibly later.
I’ve been told Q1 23 for first deliveries here in the UK but right hand drive models often lag left hand drive. I’m at a dealer launch today, a handful of cars doing the rounds, just two days after I took delivery of my F8 Spider. I think Ferrari certainly have their work cut out...
