Why take a picture of the Rosso Corsa paint decal on the inner fender?

Its really the second bb512, I have the first one sitting in my shop right now.

Wow, beautiful car! It says first production car. The other was a prototype?

A number of errors in the linked description of the evolution of the BB.

also interesting that the classicque was done in 2010, early !!!! and these ferrari ViNs all over the place.

the color combo is spectacular. Nice change from the sea of red BB/TR’s

still unclear as to what the first BB means then, as this states the “first bb production” car with a Ferrari stamp of approval.

IMO the Carbed 512BB is the "perfect" Boxer.
More torque than the 365BB and the LAST of Ferrari's carbureted cars and not one of first injected ones.

The most underappreciated Classic Ferrari of them all.
But I may be biased :D

Yes its the prototype but ended up being sold by Ferrari in 78 as a used car. Its nothing like the 365 prototype thats the first of something entirely new and uncharted territory with lots of things to figure out before unleashing it on the public. They had made 300 and something boxers before the 512 prototype so it was production ready.

And a number of errors on the car itself which surprises me. Nice to see it back to its original color
