You spec'd a gorgeous color combination, Joe. the Sabbia looks superb against Rossa Portofino. Cuoio is too orange in my opinion - it's workable on Rossa Corsa (which also has orange in it) but clashes with the more neutral and richer Rosso Portofino. Here are some photos to help you better visualize what your car's going to look like. Congratulations on placing your order!

As you can see, Sabbia is very complementary to Rosso Portofino. All things in moderation, though. Hopefully you went with a dark colored dashboard and dark carpets. Otherwise, you'll end up with a big blob of Sabbia.

After looking at a lot of cars, my favorite color combinations are: Rosso Portofino with Sabbia or Black interior, or Tour De France Blue with Sabbia or Crema interior.

Looks like my future car except I did red stitching on seats and red prancing horse on the headrest.

    Now a long wait.

Not yet. As he put it, Ferrari moves slowly.

So, Joe...how much is the Portofino M going up, compared to the current Portofino? Was the dealer able to give you the new MSRP for the US?

My '15 Cali T is TdF Blu with Cuoio interior (blue stitching) and I think the Cuoio is gorgeous. Of course, all of the interior colors are beautiful, except Nero. ;)

$222,050 base for the M. The reg PF was $213,055. The options were priced the same for 2021 compared to 2020. The increase was larger than I expected though for the M.

With all the options, I am at $298k.

Thank you both for confirming. A $9K (4%) US price bump for the M is better than I was expecting, and not a bad deal considering the engine and transmission upgrades, improved driveability, 5 position manettino and nicer aesthetics of the new model.

After test driving the Roma myself I quite agree with your analysis.

Additionally, I don’t understand how a coupe whose purpose is to be (somewhat) practical could have a trunk that is as small (I think smaller) than the Portofino trunk. Further, I absolutely detested the buttons and general technical interface in the Roma. I do not trust a company like Ferrari to implement touch controls and they kind of technology generally all over the car. Beyond that, it makes the entire experience unnecessarily complicated and cumbersome. Ferraris were very simple in the past. Now they seem overly complicated. I don’t think modern needs to equate to complexity. The idea that I need to scroll through menus to manipulate basic features while driving a Ferrari is completely upside down from my standpoint.

I would say here in South Florida, if making a choice it doesn’t make much sense to me to choose the Roma over a Portofino/M. The hard top convertible is a GT car which offers the best of both worlds. The Roma offers a completely different and wonderful styling, which may be a reason to choose it; but being out in beautiful weather day or night and confined to a coupe while neighbors on the road are enjoying top-down driving is not a pleasant feeling :)
