Perhaps the ultimate upgrade for your Ferrari FF or GTC4 Lusso....A Convertible Conversion:

We've always loved the AWD V12, but not thrilled about the backend design. Could this become the ultimate supercar convertible for 4 adults? The new lines on the car are awesome.

We can upgrade/convert your FF or Lusso for $99K or we have a completed FF for sale:

Watch the top get chopped off:

This car is in progress. We'll update more in the coming weeks with hi-res pics and video. Just wanted you guys to get a sneak peak. The V12 is being discontinued, so there is potential to create a very unique car long term. The depreciation curve on FF/Lusso's acts more like a "sedan" vs. a V12 supercar. The depreciation doesn't seem equitable for the value of the engineering/feature set in the car.

The owner of this car is hoping to hop across that "unfair" threshold by making it into a convertible. The long term value/uniqueness potential of a V12 convertible may be compelling even though it does not come directly from Maranello. GTS is the only example and they are nearly impossible to get albeit a different beast. Nonetheless, it's going to be visually stunning and exotic. We're excited.

Stay tuned for more media and details throughout the process.

    Thanks for the chat.

It says the last V12 Grand Tourer. That’s does it necessarily mean the last V12....

We can thank the Prancing Horse’s technical chief for a little information on time frames, here. Michael Leiters explained the point at which we will see the end of the non-hybrid V12 Ferrari, saying:

“The EU6C legislation [with ‘real driving emissions’] will be a challenge, but we have a solution. After that comes the 2021 Ultra-Low-Emission Vehicle legislation, which will be met with the hybrid V12 powertrain.”

Not 100% sure, but its possible that these are manufacturing standards that the factory has to comply with to make the car regardless of destination since the Maranello plant has to comply with EU standards as a manufacturer in an EU country. Definitely not versed enough on this topic to go further or derail the purpose of the OP.

Not so fast. V12 may still be alive and well. https://www.motor1.com/news/505882/ferrari-keep-v12-alive/
