The truth is the Pana turbo is a better car than the FF. It has AWD and is just faster.

The FF has AWD too and the Panamera might be faster to 60 but certainly not point to point.

Yea, this is true, what I was trying to imply is the FF is not revolutionary by any means. The design is similar to the Panamera. The Panamera is a great performer. I just want to point out to anyone who wants to buy this car to check out the Pana. It is also half the price.

People looking to buy an FF will not look at the Panamera because they are not looking at saving money to get the same boot space or the same HP or 0-60 time. They simply want something practical but also exclusive, and if we are to believe Ferrari, they want first and foremost a Ferrari that they can drive everyday with more than one passenger and a Ferrari that they can drive all year long. The FF AWD system is pretty revolutionary, if only by the fact that it ensure the same safety but with half the weight of your normal AWD system.

The Panamera and the FF do not compete. Just like the various 911s and the 458 do not compete. Someone may want both, but not because he competed one against the other.

I finally saw one at Ferrari Palm Beach. I'm not a huge fan of the character line that runs right under the belt line. It seems like an afterthought or they didn't know what to do. And, I would have broadened the hips, errr... rear haunches just a bit. A simpler design without added complex designs for design's sake would have been better in my oh so humble opinion.

The interior on the other hand, is quite nice. The back seats look at least usable, if not completely comfortable. If I were planning on using them on a regular basis, well, I'd have to get a Panamera. Not that it really compares with the FF. The passenger's little info display embedded within this model's carbon fiber trim looks quite tacky. Not sure I'd tick that box, especially if the passenger can testify against me in court over a speeding ticket.

    Forgive my shoddy pics.
