I've read a lot of threads suggesting the importance of being sure a used FF has the right build...both color combinations and options.

What would you consider the best colors and color combinations? What are the colors to stay away from (some are obvious)?

    What options are "a must"?

I'll apologize in advance if there have been previous posts that answer these questions in detail; I haven't found them.

I may be in the minority, however, I always buy what i want and like regardless of what may be more popular.

If you're searching the market, maybe buy what stirs your soul?

    Everyone has a different preference/opinion!

To me Grey looks best on any car, but some people would think I'm crazy lol

omg this is like throwing a grenade - popcorn time

anything but white sucks and is for losers who have no taste. pozzi over cuoio with no shields is tasteless. You have to get the garage door opener or the car is worth like 20k less.

Color has zero impact on resale. I'd go with silver/blue/black/grigio etc. I like as much carbon fiber as possible and I like diamond stitching. There really aren't any options that are a must. Some people like the glass roof, some don't. Just buy what appeals to you and you will be happy.

Colours to stay away from imo are Rosso Corsa, Rosso Scuderia and Giallo modena. They make the car look huge and bloated as they completely flattens the lines within the bodywork.

    Must haves on an FF?

I think it's such a unique car so it really depends. Due to the GT nature of the car, many don't necessarily think shields or LED and carbon are musts. I'm one of them. Sure an LED wheel in leather is nice, but not a must. I think carbon look horrible on the inside of an FF and the shields are very misplaced.

As far as the FF go, I'd tend to think creature comforts are more of a must, rather than bling. Also, lots and lots of leather inside.

I actually agree with the colors you mentioned, it softens the cars edges.

My car is grigio titanio and i have two pics next to my huracan, you can see all the edges and it looks like a long coupe, as edgy as huracan (almost lol) so colors do change the cars appearance big time

I had cf steering wheel in my cars but with aluminum trim everywhere, I swapped it out for an all leather wheel as I hated the gimmicky LED wheel

It's not like that. Nothing is a must. The issue is what you like vs. what moves fast/slow and for the most/least money on resale. As has been said, get what you like ... that's #1. Being mindful of what's more popular and less popular simply helps set a pricing structure in your mind. But nothing is a must.

If you study the market you will see these trends for yourself. Start a spread sheet, year, miles, color, interior color, interior seats/electric, caliper color, carbon/LED, wheel type, lifter/no, pano/no, etc.

Over time you will figure out what the market likes vs. what you really want.

Some of the color thing is regional. Some is larger trends, like in all fashion, that move over time. Silvers and whites are hot right now. Black always looks more clown shoe than other colors as it hides the lines, and there is no contrast with the plastics ... and yet black can still be great in a nice build, for example with yellow or red calipers and stitching.

The carbon/LED wheel tends to garner more money, look to save some there if you don't want that look. Shields are worth money too, no shields a better deal for you if you like the look yet might take longer to sell.

Triple layer paint is a bit more money on resale (not the 30k as new, but a little) and very beautiful, yet very hard to touch up. I would avoid it personally unless you wrap the car.
