Hi guys, Can anyone please post a picture of their battery tender as I think I received the wrong one with my car. It’s a 2016 FF. thank you! Jonathan
Hopefully someone will put one up soon. The dealer couldn't locate the oem one when I went to pick up mine, so they went to their parts dept and gave me a brand new Ferrari branded ctek charger kit that has all the different clamps and connectors (part #70002821).
Is this the one you are looking for? https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/ferrari-magnetic-battery-conditioner-like-new.632788/#post-147779060
I use something like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/182967461758?hash=item2a99b5e77e:g:hzIAAOSwdW9aNV3- and then any ctek you want
It's been a while so can't recall. But does the FF use the new style magnetic connector? I thought it uses the older style found on the 458 CalivF12 etc. Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
My 2016 has the magnetic connector beside rear license plate as well I keep one of those adapters in my car lol I had to recharge my battery last weekend as I didnt drive for a little more than a month
Does anyone have any experience using a battery tender with some sort of portable power supply? I have a 2012 FF and if I leave it for just 2 days its slow to start and gives me electrical errors when it finally starts up. New Interstate battery installed just 3 months ago. Im sure recent cold weather doesn't help. When I do drive (almost everyday) its for at least 15 minutes and often for 45 mins up a long stretch of highway for my commute. I want to start using a battery tender, but problem is I don't have any outlets near where I park. Just wondering if I could plug in a battery tender to a portable power supply and leave it all in the trunk while its parked for a few days.
you cld just disconnect the battery. its under the panel in the passenger side engine bay. the disconnect is on the terminal, in plain sight.
