Guys I have a 2012 FF 4k miles. Drove the car this week and the a/c did not blow out cold air. Has anyone has this issue, easy/hard fix?

First thing to double check is that all the buttons are in the correct position exactly in accordance with the owners manual - then take a look thro previous threads for other mentions - on other models a fuse sometimes blows but you haven't said how much or how little of the system is working eg fans lights heating

I had this happen once. It happened when I had let the battery run low after leaving the car parked for five weeks not on the charger. The car started, but the starter turned over slowly. Once the car started, several things were awry, including the AC blowing warm (trunk lid wouldn't open, seatbelt handover didn't work). I drove the car for an hour, then after I stopped to get gas, restarted the now much happier car, and all things worked as expected, including cold AC.

Of course, this happens on the hottest day of the year, so the drive was a tad windy and warm.

So one possibility is a computer module that failed its test at startup due to low power. Try either charging the battery on the trickle charger, or run the car for an hour, to get the battery back to a happy charge.

Try a hard re-set by disconnecting the battery for a few seconds. Worth a try before going to the dealer.

May be due an air con service and re-gas if it has stood a longtime or not been used for a longtime.

    1) you would be surprised at how often the HVAC ECU's in modern cars (eg. Ferrari) get confused.

    2) if the car or A/C unit has not been used regularly, a seal could have dried up, you lost gas, etc - it's actually not that uncommon in any car

    3) the HVAC system has a not of sensors and defaults to AUTO upon each start up....I'm sure you tried to twist all the dials and switches, low probability you have an air temp sensor problem but it's as likely on a Ferrari as on a Dodge or Chevy

As a matter of course, on some of the cars I don't drive often (eg. 355...), I always run the A/C even in winter to make sure all the stuff works

please let us know what the resolution is

It's a tough position as you want a lower miles car, yet not even 100 miles a month in 4 years is really low, things can get unhappy. Good luck with it.

I guess the hole couldn't be bondo'ed, then? LOL Metal pipe for $1100?!...Must be some kind of rare earth metals in that pipe or something? Did you have warranty on that car? What's the total on the final bill?
