Superb!!!
Beautiful car. Whats the story behind the wood gas cap? I think I heard it once but no longer remember.
In my opinion, the Islero is under-valued. Imagine the cost of an excellent Islero, if it had a dancin donkey emblem, on the hood. Ferruccio's X, does need the 'famous' combination donkey/bull sticker, inside of a door or bonnet
Wow- is it likely that that car ever have such fine detailing and look as good when it was brand new? My guess is not, but I'm just curious on anyone's thoughts. The car came out beautifully- I love it!
Hey.. the story behind the wooden gas cap was that Ferruccio loved working on his boat (a wooden one) and had a wooden gas cap made for his car and it's remained on it and there ever since.
What kind of period documentation shows Ferruccio's ownership ? I would be curious to discover the kind of file... knowing actually only previous owners, traders and present owner had a look at this file, but what about all the other people of our community....
