While installing a dash cam, I came across the Mopar stamp on the fuse panel. o_O Are there more Mopar parts used by Ferrari? I believe Fiat Chrysler Automotive has a stake in Ferrari, but this was unexpected.

Can’t see it. Did you mean Magneti Morelli?

I believed Magneti Marelli signed a deal with Mopar in 2011 to buy/sell parts from each other as a way to reduce the overlap on 1,000 products or so. Any part branded "Magneti Marelli Offered by Mopar" carries both marks.

Yes, Mopar parts are used in Ferraris/Maseratis for past few years… all the interior knobs etc in Maseratis are straight out of a Grand Cherokee too — it’s a true story.

Sure. There was even some noise a while back when one of the new Fcar models had essentially the same entertainment unit as the Jeeps.

My understanding is that 458 have the same shocks as Corvette.

I’ve had a few Grand Cherokee’s and some knobs are same and I’ve noticed same parts in Maserati too. No biggie to me though…I really loved my Grand Cherokee SUV’s.

However Chrysler can do interiors without STICKY BUTTONS AND PIECES….why can’t Ferrari….?Ferrari interior parts seem cheap to me….sticky buttons, headliners falling apart, a/c vent rattles….my experience and feelings on my 1st Ferrari I’ve owned.

355s have Ford stamped connectors on the wiring harnesses. There are a lot of parts that are shared with other companies; a/c compressors and alternators are a good example. Seems like the only parts on the 458 that Ferrari builds is the engine and the interior upholstery.

I've owed a couple Maseratis, a new '13 GTS coupe and new '17 MC Cabrio. The "Grand Turismo" line and Quattro Porte line, were spared the garbage Chrysler parts. The GT was only slightly compromised by them in '18, then they were discontinued. The Ghibli and Levane run rampant w/ those parts and I am sure the Greciale does too. I'm shocked to see them on an F8 though, regardless if partnered w/ Magna or not. SMH...

Exact same head unit, just a silver painted bezel. Strange seeing it in a minivan and a v-12 Ferrari.

The Mopar aspect of Ferrari/Maserati/Alfa is kinda hilarious actually. Talk about polar opposites....

I just bought an extended extended on my 4C and it's a Mopar backed warranty.
