CAFE is proud to announce the first annual "Ferraris at the Village". Saturday, November 18th from 11am - 3pm The location will be Ballantyne Village, a brand new upscale shopping/dining/entertainment plaza in South Charlotte. (www.ballantynevillage.com) This event will be a gathering/show to be enjoyed by both owners and the general public. Visitors will have the opportunity to vote for their favorites in a number of classes and awards will be presented to the winners. I am presently working on additional items such as menu samplings from the retaurants, goodie bags, and so forth. If you are an owner and interested in participating, please feel free to email me with your name and the following related to your Ferrari - year/model/exterior/interior. Registration is $10 per car and can be collected the day of the event. Kevin Fielden CAFE - Charlotte Area Ferrari Enthusiasts
we will have a whole area blocked off just for us - generally, this section is used by the valets during dinner hours...
We are working to have some close by parking blocked off for other "special" cars that may attend the event.
Great Kevin, this should be a wonderful showing. I have contacted several of my clients and friends who will be attending. Let me know if I need to show early to help with any setup. Wade
Confirmed - I'll be en route to the race in Homestead and unable to attend. Dammit! Sounds like a perfect day. I'll keep my eyes out for photos on this board.
That's a real possibility.... while no Ferrari, I'll be there to say hi, and show off Jeremy's old ride....
I'd love to do this as well. I don't get to go often, once or twice a year, but I land in the top 10 laps of the day each time. If the tracks anything like when I went last year, it should be a total blast, its got some places for a wiley driver to set up some pretty cool passes. I like to run 32 minutes, bout all my computer geek body can take without my head wobbling all over. Btw, if you are a member, a girl races for only $5 with you on a weekend.
I will be there with my Fly Yellow 78' 308 GTS. This is my first event I have been able to attend...please come by and say hello! Looking forward to meeting everyone! Keith
I'm going to bring down my 348 and meet the folks from CAFE. We just moved here from So Cal this summer and haven't had much time to attend any gatherings. As luck would have it, I have no track events this weekend! I am entertaining the idea of selling our prancing horse and would like to talk to people that know the market here for my 1991 TS... See everyone there! Rob, you coming?
maybe we could caravan down together? i was hoping that we could meet for coffee at birkdale and then head on down. it looks like i will be in town for this and would love to meet another person from so-cal as well as seeing if you can follow me in the even that my boxer ...does boxer like stuff...and breaks. let me know. i hope the weather is good! pcb
