FerrariChat very CPU Intensive

    Wasn't sure where to post this kind of thing, so sorry mods if this isn't the correct place.

    I have noticed lately that FChat is slowing down my computer significantly - particularly with many open tabs. It is an issue unique to FChat, as my computer is regularly used in music production, tech stats are more than up to loading several browser tabs with 4k video, etc, but the forum for some reason makes everything veeeery slow and CPU intensive.

    I'm using Chrome on a MacBook pro running Mojave.

    Anyway, I thought I'd throw it out there, as it wasn't an issue when the forum first switched to the new model, but has been happening in the past 3, 4 months.

    Hope this feedback helps, in case there's something to sort out. I'm open to suggestions on how to possibly fix it on my end too. Thanks!

    Try a different browser and an ad blocker. It's no secret that Chrome is a giant system resource pig.

    It does the same thing in Safari.

    Get an ad blocker and silver or rossa.

    Subscription runs more efficient as less ads, but we are working on ads either way. Thanks.

    thanks Rob. I had to stop subscribing due to exchange rate and way too many subscriptions, but I don't think it's fair to run an ad blocker either. Anyways seems to have been running better lately but good to know it's being looked at.
