Left to right: Dave, John, Mike, Andy, Nathalie, Marc. You can see my car on the left and I think it is Alex's Testa on the right, with Andy's CS side on. The others are sadly hidden! cheek of it.
well i have to agree on that point but to be a proper photographer you practice on the small ones first then you get to the big ones
You what they say...........Men with big cars (engines) try to compare their small................. A 4cyl Ferrari would be great enough for me!!
All the girls know that 12 cylinders = 12 inches 8 cylinders = 8 inches 4 cylinders = 4 inches see if you can work that out
Had a call this evening from Badger (chap we met in Fort William who has a 328 and joined us for part of the rallye). He has a copy of the Highland newspaper which we also featured in, on the afternoon of the display in FW. I will post the article when I get it. I think he is planning to venture in to f-chat, so HI BADGER!
I am off to Marrakech tomorrow so no hedgy posts for a couple of weeks. Have a nice fortnight everyone.

Glad you are all home safe and sound. I have just had two wonderful weeks with Zoe in Marrakech - will post pics later...need to sort through - in true Mike style, I have over 1,000!!!!! I fell in love with his camera and got a similar one for the trip, so although they won't be qute up to Codex standards, there are some good pics (must be right, it's a numbers game!) Cheers M
Marc Where are the rest of the swiss guys pics - I thought they had taken more than Mike What make & model of camera do you and Mike now have ? Did you buy it duty free ? If so what do you think you saved ? Cheers Kevan
I got a Nikon D50 with an 18-55 lens and a 70-300 telephoto lens, tripod, bags etc..am so impressed at it's flexibility I cannot stop click clicking...some of the night shots in the desert and close up sunrise type shots I could never have achieved with my little dimage jobby. Mike has the D70s which is very similar with a few more features that a pro might use, and is slightly more cash. Did not buy it duty free as I wanted to guarantee that I could get it with all the accesories prior to the holiday, but screwed a good deal at Jessops, so over all did not lose out (they had the base camera for £30 less than I paid, but not all the accessories, many of which I got thrown in). Let me know if you are interested and I will forward you the detailed research I did and Mike did on my behalf, comparing the two and looking at price comps.
This is pretty much it, but they will move on price, and also accessories - memory, tripod, rucksack, camera case, cleaning kit, etc http://www.jessops.com/search/viewproduct.cfm?PRODUCT=NIK@D50S18300K&BRAND=NIK&CONTINUE=false&FEATS=&FIRSTPRICE=0&KEYWORD=&LEVEL=&MODELNUMBER=&NEWQUERY=True&NODE=481&ORD=ASC&ORDERBY=&QUANTITY=40&RECENT=0&REFINE=&SEARCH_FOR=&SEARCHNODE=0&SEARCHURL=dointellisea Good review, with comp to D70S: http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/d50.htm
Just opened my mail at work and Malcolm has sent through lots of copies of a second article, this time in the Lochaber news, covering the display in FW..nice piccie of MEEEEEEEE too! Will post it later on from home. Cheers dude, and for the emails too!
