Don't have any concern where they list 75 lb-ft in that table for many models that have an official F written spec of 72 lb-ft (I, myself, tend to go a little higher, too), but do think the 512TR entry of 86 lb-ft should also be 75 lb-ft, or 72 lb-ft. Doesn't help that Ferrari mangled the written spec in the 512TR WSM on page N22 where they (wrongly) list it as "98 da Nm" (when it should be 9.8 da Nm which converts to 72 lb-ft), but does anyone have any reference, or justification, for 512TR being at 86 lb-ft?

Also have to criticize them for having 1985-1991 TR at 75 lb-ft -- should be:

    TR 1985-1988 (single wheel nut) = 325 lb-ft

    TR 1988.5-1991 (5-lug bolt) = 75 lb-ft

Note also the 550 is shown at 100 lb-ft, while the 575M with identical hubs and wheel size is listed at 80 lb-ft.

I use 75 ft/lbs for all the 14mm bolts. I've never had a problem. The torque spec for the 550 varies from year to year. There's no reason for it.

Tim- Wonder if it relates to magnesium vs aluminum wheels? Only difference I can think of and they all have aluminum now since the mags were recalled.
