Has anyone else took notice to the values of the 360 era and above models increasing in value? I thought with the newer models like the F8 and 296 coming into the used market it would have compressed the market and pushed the values down on the older models. For those that have bought a new Ferrari recently did you pay MSRP or over MSRP? I feel like Ferrari has become so exclusive with it’s new cars it’s like buying my wife’s Hermes bag, you have to be invited and they will offer you the model they want and if you don’t accept, they may not invite you ever again.

I only seriously pay attention to the 360 market, and they have come down. Both F1 and manual cars.

Multiple transactions under and well under $100k for good cars in the past few months.

What mileage were the 360’s and years for the ones sub 100k? I figured the 360 market for a car around 15k to 18k miles would land somewhere around 105k and 20k miles to 28k would be 90k range to maybe 95k. I don’t really see much below 85k.

The greed is coming to an end. Ive seen some 575m s in the low 100s , just from the post of that burgundy F8 for sale. I hope the bottom falls out of the used Ferrari market, its about time...I could care less about the 360s. Theyre junk, its that simple.

Sure Gino, I did not know Ferrari put out junk but since you seem to like 308’s and 328’s, I am questioning if you really know what junk is since you drive real junk that no one in the current century would look at over a 360.

Gino hit his head pretty hard when he crashed his motorcycle a few months ago. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and attribute his irrational posts to that. Over time it’s likely the 360 will continue to edge up in value, particularly as the guys who obsessed over them in their teens and twenties gain the disposable income to buy one. It’s not all that different from any other segment really. The outlier continues to be the Challenge Stradale as they’ve already gained modern classic status. That along with the (relatively) limited production or import to US and they’ll remain strong for the duration IMO.

Sold my mint 1999 360 Gated six speed coupe with 23K miles in February for 115K. The buyer was a good friend of mine and we both felt good about the price. A well documented Grigio-tan car with minimal options.
Junk? Wow. It was the best Ferrari I have ever owned and I've had 11 since 1986. Reliable, great AC, stunning performance, great sound, comfortable. Gino probably thinks a 348 is a great car.

I don’t keep a birds eye on the market but I do get some updates from Cargurus and it appears to me that the trend for 458s and F8s is decreasing from last year. But of course, miles go up, and car price goes down. On the flip, maybe the option and spec you are looking for becomes available and you pay a premium.

You can see the average SOLD vehicle value really easily on their (they have a graph), but I’m on mobile and don’t feel like doing it and posting the results right now. Someone please verify.

The difference is that I talk to Ferrari mechanics all the time, and they tell me everything thats wrong with the 360s when they are in the shop, so its not irrational, comparing the 3x8 to the 360s is like comparing fantastic tasting grapes to lemons, the 360s are pieces of ****, that dont hold a candle to the 328, 348 , Testarossa , etc , etc, etc. Im out there in the field talking to Ferrari mechanics all the time, the 360s are junk compared to 328, and to add , they look like crap from any angle, they suck, its that simple, the 3x8s are timeless by the way to answer the other fellow. The truth hurts, I understand that, I know the truth, and thats all that matters, so theres that. Once the 458 was released, it was easy to tell that the people at Pinan got off the CRACK PIPE for a change, good grief Charlie Brown.Ive got 105k miles on my 328, and my interior has not come unglued, are you ****ing kidding me ? Get the **** out of here...That 360 is the worst car that Ferrari has ever made, its that simple.

The 360 is actually not junk. It's a pretty decent car actually.

I have worked on hundreds of 360 and all I can say is "Absolute nonsense". Most Ferrari master tech's I know love the 360, they are easy to work on and the electronics are simple so diagnostics are quick and fuss free. The 360 is now approaching a quarter of a century old so yes there are lots of tired unloved examples out there but certainly not all are the same...

Owned since it was 18 months old. Love it to bits, perfect condition, NOTHING goes wrong. Drove it 65k miles and in all that time only minor things have failed, a door lock solenoid and then just replacement of normal wear and tear items like ball joints, coils, belts, etc. had to deal with sticky buttons but that impacts many Ferrari's. Its extremely well engineered if well maintained.

And IMHO it still looks great even amongst latest Ferrari's, hell last year my 360 won 'Classic Car Of The Year' in Portugal. ..

My Ferrari tech loves them and talks about how robust they are. Always has high praises for the car. He ran challenge cars for a long time and always talked about the abuse they took. Even the street cars he loves because you can actually diagnose and fix whatever is broken but the car is quick and fun to drive and sounds great.

Gino you are always good for a laugh, thank you.

I can only speak for the ones I know, but they are master techs...factory trained, all of them say the 360 is a solid car.

Out here in So Cal, I heard quite the opposite, and Im only going by the shop owners and the mechanics . With all that being said, it really does not matter, the 360 is the worst looking Ferrari to ever be produced. And the 430 is not that far behind in the looks dept.' If I had to make a choice, and at this point in time, being that the prices will be coming down and since my business is doing very well, I will be able to afford either , would I buy either, hell no, I would wait until I can afford a 488 and I will still keep my 328, or the 328 will be my only and last Ferrari. The 360 is disgusting when it comes to the looks, its that simple. The 348 / 355 are so much better when it comes to the design.

I don't care for the 360 looks either etc but his rationale for 'why it's junk' is so laughably insane... 'he spoke with some Ferrari techs who work on them' and they say they're always broken down.... hmmm. Well, maybe he should realize that he's talking to people that ONLY see broken down ones cos that's their job!!! It's like asking a plumber what he thinks of metal pipes and he would reply with, 'every one I see is broken'....

LOL......can't believe ANYONE could write that without laughing the whole time.

I would NEVER buy a 360, but if a 360 was hit by an ugly stick, then a 348 was hit with the whole ugly TREE.

Yeah, it looks like the 348 got hit with a hot bag of nickels compared to the 360. My boy Gino must be on a sick one talking like that.
