    My wife bought me the new Ferrari Traffic Assist Pro for our anniversary (42nd) and the cd will not install on my XP pc (win32 error) or my wifes Vista pc.
    It get further on Vista - tells me to go to mybecker.com and get the latest update. I go to mybecker.com in the US and they don't even have the Z 250 or Ferrari Traffic Assist Pro listed.
    At the mybecker UK site they have it listed but the only files are .pdf not programs.
    I have contacted mybecker US no response, UK gave a pdf becker word locations I could send it in gor repair. Ferrari Store no reply, but to be fair I emailed them today.
    Does anyone have one and were they able to install the software.

    Sorry I can't help you with your software issue. However, there was a very recent Thread which mentioned that Becker NA is now a defunct entity. They are, however, continuing to do business under a similar name, have a Website and are taking orders for parts, etc. Do a search on Becker and it will come up. Good luck.

    Becker screen comes up and has install application, transmit maps, read the manual
    Install application stops with the following message, I have no idea what the application does, I would guess you could connect the GPS unit to the PC and do maintence? The transmit maps seem to work as well the read manual.
    Windows did an automatic update to my XP machine and the ‘invalid win32’ error is gone (I have seen it every day since the 3/5 through 3/11).

    Please download latest software version under www.mybecker.com

    I check everyday at the mybecker (UK,DE forget US they don’t have the Z 250 and apparently shutdown but still on the pdf becker sent with a reply to send my unit to them for repair along with a european phone number to talk to support.) the mybecker under the Z 250 just has pdf files.

    Maybe I am making a mountain out of a mole hill.
    It is a nice unit, still figureing out how to get the most out of it.

    If you go into the CD, you will see a program called start.exe. Right click on it, click on the compatibility tab and select "run this program in compatibility mode for" and select Windows 98. Then click apply and then click ok. Then double click on start.exe and see if that helps.

    I am beginning to think that this is for updating the software in the Z 250. There are no referances in the manual about using the pc except for transfering maps, pictures etc.
    but it would be nice to know.

    I am going to PM you I have another PC question you might be able to help with, it is not Ferrari related.
