Ferrari, as well as Porsche, have had a sunglasses eyewear line before, haven't they?

I had a pair of Michael Schumacher glasses. They had interchangeable lenses with different colors, brown blue and chromey. They were big pieces of crap and I paid $50 for them to never wear them. Those look nice though.

Wide-templed glasses (thick side pieces) are hell when you're driving - they block your peripheral vision. Best to get wraparounds or ones with slender temples. I'm really surprised Todt would endorse something like this (especially the red ones) for street use.

Aesthetics are subjective, but good luck making a lane change in those.

Porsche Design makes sunglasses. I think they started as separate company in the Porsche family and may have been bought into the Porsche the carmaker.

I have a pair of Oakley Juliets, which I love.; but the frames are thick and I notice a loss of peripheral vision while driving as well.

I use a pair of Hobies, with Maui Jim lenses. I've toalked to a lot of eye docs and they all say that Maui Jim has the best lenses of all of them. I like the Hobie frames because they fit my face well.

those are some ugly f-ing glasses! Reminds me of the 1980's when these mid-50ish guys were walking around the Porsche shows with those big ugly Porsche sunglasses the size of windshields :)

I have a set of Maui Jims. I pick my sunglasses like I pick my cars, my two pet peeves I guess. Anyway these glasses are the best I have found I am on my second pair, beware don’t put them down for a second, I do a lot of outside activities kayaking, bike riding, sailing etc and these are perfect. They do not mess with my peripheral vision and I don’t have to look like Yoko

I like Rudy Projects (their new photochromic lenses work great), also Native (who has EXCEPTIONAL customer service--I scratched a lens and sent the glasses back with a check--I got a brand new set and my check back).

The only thing that bums me is that I really like polarized lenses, but with said lenses I can't read the radio display in my 360. Also, many folks say don't wear polarized lenses on the track--you may need to see the sheen from spilled fluids.

I have had a set a Maui Jims--the optics seemed superb.

Maui Jims can be gotten with or without polarized lenses.
