Went by the Lincoln Road Mall yesterday. The Website indicates they have a Geox store and a Ferrari store. Neither of them are there anymore...(I guess they're in no hurry to update their site but funny thing is they seem to add the new stores in their directory without deleting the old ones if it gets people there)

Anyway, this is the first instance I've heard of a Ferrari Store closing down. Anyone know why?

Not that there is anything good anymore but it's always nice to visit. Puma store usually have nice decent-priced Ferrari items but my last visit at Sawgrass turned out to be a dissapointment with nothing good to buy.

I've been in both stores and haven't bought anything. I'm not devastated by this news. I don't wear F clothing or hats plus I have a cool key chain so I don't know what's there for me anyway.

My wife has some nice F logo tops.

Yes, that one is at Aventura Mall and still open.

It's not devastating but kind of sad that a Ferrari Store would actually close

London England closed last year - I think quite a few more have gone or are going - even some of the Italian ones

Probably only so much of a market for the stuff and much more internet & dealer sales now - maybe even trying to make it more exclusive again !

I didn't even know that they had opened a store on Lincoln Road.

I visited the Aventura store once and was not impressed with the inventory. As far as I'm concerned, the boutiques at the dealerships have more interesting stock. I regularly buy stuff at Ferrari of Atlanta, and recently bought a shirt at Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale.

Makes sense, it's actually kind of sad to see cheap Ferrari knick knacks on sale everywhere. They should go back to a small inventory of quality italian goods such as luggage, watches, pens, etc...

But given that they make more money with merchandising now than they do with cars, that is not likely to happen.

The one on Linc was the smallest Ive ever seen. They couldn't even fit a full scale F1 model in it.

I've spoken many times to the manager at Aventura, and in my opinion there is too much of infant and baby apparel and not enough of collectable type things like helmets, cars, books, etc. They either have caps and T-Shirts, or the only kind of interesting stuff being some watches or pistons in the back. I called the other day to get a 2013 yearbook and they didn't have any. Actually they never get any, only a few older ones. The merchandise sits there for a long time. I don't think they'll be around too much longer.

There is a store at Sawgrass Mills (forgot the name but it's not a Ferrari store nor a Puma store) that has an "embarassing" amount of Ferrari onesies, bibs, T-shirts, etc....

They are milking every penny out of that fine Ferrari Shield, it all looks really desperate and sad...

I think what you're talking about is a kiosk that had some Ferrari and McLaren shirts at sawgrass.

Agree with a lot of previous posts, wish they would sell less tat and concentrate on quality items of literature/models etc.

You have to realize the Ferrari brand stores aren't there for Ferrari owners... they are there for the masses, who dream of Ferrari ownership and want to buy something with the name on it.

I bet one store would sell more Ferrari shirts than every store combined would sell helmets. They have to stock what the majority of people will buy. Books and models though, I think you may have a point with, that seems like something owners and the masses would buy
