"Auto Italiana" of 27 March 1954 lists these drivers with Ferraris at the 28 March 1954 Coppa Torricelle hillclimb (near Verona).

Paolo Marzotto, Gerino Gerini, Giulio Cabianca, Enzo Pinzero, Pier Umberto Sartori (166), Gino Casarotto and Mirabello Boldrin.

    No.
    0352 MM.
    NOT 0354 MM.
0352 MM owned by Barge S.r.l. and with license plate Milan "MI 237554", issued 16 March 1954, 12 days before the Torricelle HC on 28 March 1954. Just look at the photos.

Cabianca actually raced an OSCA in 1954

Besides, since we now know the above 2-liter sportscars had numbers in the 280s in 1954, surely the Ferrari numbered in the 140s as posted previously should be from 1953 ?

    No.
All these drivers are listed in the results of the 28 March 1954 Torricelle HC, published in "Auto Italiana", issue Anno XXXV, Number 13, dated 27 Marzo 1954, page 50, as stated by me in post #526.
Nothing to do with 1953, the year before.

I am not disputing that, I do have the results for 1954 listing these drivers.

My point is that I am not sure the photos showing Ferraris numbered in the 140 bracket in post 511 and 512 are from 1954, since they would probably be competing in the same class as Luglio and P. Marzotto, and if so have race numbers closer to the 280s bracket.

    Ah, OK, thanks.
Typical problem when people start posting pix from other events or years in a specific thread and without clear captions..........

You are right ! Number 145 (0176ED) is Antonio Stagnoli, then it was 1953 Torricelle hillclimb. Thanks !

I have to admit that I have never heard of Mirabello Boldrin as a Ferrari racing driver? Never seen him even associated with any type of Ferrari.....

Boldrin appears to have raced at Lancia Aprilia at the 1950 Coppa d'Oro delle Dolomiti.
