Ferrari Red PMS color

So is the problem that you don't have a red Ferrari, or you don't have a PMS chart?

If you can wait a couple of days, I'll be swinging past the body shop where my car is in pieces and match it up.

But, shooting from the hip, I'd say its 185C maybe 186C somewhere in that range.

It's a color matching system that printers use to define colors and then properly mix the ink to reproduce that color.

Here's the range of reds.....

and 185 and 186, which I think are the closest match.

Depending on the type of printing you're doing, you might be well-advised to do a 4/c build (CMYK) of the image. If its just a flat image, the PMS 185 is your best bet.

Yes, I'm in the printing business too, and reproduce automotive images from time to time.

Can you post a picture of the image so we can make the best recommendation?

Nope.

Although 186 is sometimes referred to as "American flag" red.
